Review of 2016 by activists Urša Raukar and Ivana Zanze

We open the series with two activists who are on the scene for years, dealing with completely different tasks, but they were during this year commited to the defense of human rights united on many fronts. We are presenting the actress and activist Urša Raukar and longtime activist from the organization RODA Ivana Zanze.

We open the series with two activists who are on the scene for years, dealing with completely different tasks, but they were during this year commited to the defense of human rights united on many fronts. We are presenting the actress and activist Urša Raukar and longtime activist from the organization RODA Ivana Zanze.

They were asked to look back to 2016, the year setting a complete unknown businessman to the position of prime minister, the government, which was started off by announcing creation of a Register of Traitors and that eventually toppled after less than five months in office. The culmination of the year was certainly a great set of "Croatia can do better", which gathered on the Ban Jelacic Square more than 40,000 people, and parallelly  organized in a number of other towns in Croatia and abroad.
